Rwanda travel information, Anyone planning a trip to the Land of a thousand hills should be aware that restrictions are subject to change at short notice hence all travellers should make proper research, carefully consider the need for travel and stay informed on current issues via credible news outlets.
Travellers to Rwanda must present a negative RT-PCR test result, taken within 72 hours of departure. All travellers must also complete a visitors locator form and upload t heir covid-19 test certificate to this form before travelling. Mandatory PCR- test are taken on arrival.
Testing at the airport costs $70 and payment guidance can be found on the passenger locator form. Visitors should isolate until they receive a negative test result. A negative RT-PCR test take within 72 hours is required to leave Rwanda.
