3-Day Wildlife tour in Akagera

3 Days Akagera Wildlife Tour,  Akagera is the savanna park in Rwanda hosting many animals such as lions, buffalos, giraffes among others. The safari takes you to 3 day Akagera national park wildlife expedition which gives visitors various entertaining activities.

Day 1

Arrival at the Kigali International Airport where you will be received by the guide. The visitor will have a brief city tour and lunch before proceeding to the Akagera national park. You will check into the lodge, relax and later on in the day go for a game drive through the spectacular savanna, go on a boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you will see hippos and crocodiles and also sight some birds.

Day 2

You will have an early morning breakfast, and then head out for morning game drive in the north of the park. You will be able to catch sight of early rising animals such as antelopes and predators including lions as they come back from their hunt, nocturnal animals and a heard of large animals including buffalos and bushbucks. Later on in the afternoon, you can go on a boat cruise on Lake Ihema for a birding experience.

Day 3

You will have early morning breakfast before checking out of the hotel to start the journey to Kigali. You will enjoy stop over visit at the Genocide Memorial Center where you will learn about the genocide and visit the national museum where you will learn some history about the land of a thousand hills. Later go to the Airport for your departure thus end of the safari.
